On March 17, RSN was honored to join a virtual panel event organized by the American University School of International Service (AU-SIS). Moderated by Dr. Tazreena Sajjad, professor at AU-SIS and one of RSN’s advisors, the panelists – including RSN’s Executive Director, Zaid Hydari – discussed asylum-seekers and issues related to seeking asylum in the DC area, across the United States, and around the world. During the panel, RSN stressed that building quality asylum systems takes time and that it is critical to invest in host countries.
