RSN w/partner RRT release new info for unaccompanied minors

RRT-RSN releases new section on rights and procedures for unaccompanied minors
September 1, 2021

Child refugees, especially unaccompanied minors, are guaranteed special protections by international law due to their unique vulnerabilities. However, not many legal resources are made in a language that can be understood by minors, materials that explain their rights and procedures.

To fill this gap, we co-developed with our partner Refugee Rights Turkey a new child-friendly section specifically for unaccompanied/separated foreign children in Turkey on our joint info platform for refugees. Although it is not meant to be exhaustive, it provides some of the most essential and most frequently asked information related to the rights and procedures that are relevant to refugee and migrant children in Turkey.
